History

In the timeline below we give a historical picture of the development of the company and the PremTech brand. Founded in 2004, the brand has experienced vigorous development. We are now facing the next growth phase, international expansion.

2004 PremTech founded

Having already accumulated vast experience in the industry, PremTech was founded with the aim of developing and supplying top-grade products for the Automotive market. At the time, the official company name PremTech (short for Premium Technologies) was CarComplete B.V., as supplying audio products of was one of its core tasks.

2012 2012 Premtech discontinues audio products

From then on, the focus and priority has been entirely on the developing and marketing of liquid technical maintenance and repair products for the Automotive industry.

2015 Intensification with various laboratories and additional parties

The development of in-house products is simplified and further professionalised. The market focus also changes from just Automotive to a focus on Construction, Industry, Mobility, Rail and Automotive. For these reasons, PremTech CarComplete B.V. changed its name to PremTech B.V. in 2015.

2017 New growth phase

PremTech is increasingly seen as a consulting partner, creating tremendous growth. In addition to its own brand, PremTech markets a number of private labels. PremTech’s quality top-grade products with the respective customer’s image on the packaging.

2018 Development of systems for the construction industry

Systems are being developed in collaboration with various parties. The airtight building concept and the system (link to ‘joint sealing system’ page) for watertight sealing of wet cells are great examples.

2018 A more international character

PremTech’s products are starting to make their way to countries such as Austria, Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and India. PremTech also finds its first distributor abroad in 2018. These developments set the stage for further expanding international growth and fulfilling international ambitions.

2019 Expansion with office in enschede

In 2019, the size of the business increased significantly. A substantial proportion of its employees are from Enschede, which lead to the opening of an office in Enschede in July. PremTech now operates from Woerden, where storage, finance and distribution are based. And from Enschede, where product development, marketing and sales are facilitated and driven.

2020 New proposition

The year 2020 sees efforts towards a new PremTech brand proposition. After years of growth, there is time to reflect and look to the future. What does PremTech stand for, and what is unique about PremTech. A brand story (linking to ‘we connect’ page) and incentive for a new look is the result of preparing the company for the future. We connect… in all areas.

2021 New house style

The next step is taken. PremTech’s logo and entire corporate identity are revamped to better reflect its core company values and new proposition. A new logo is developed. A unified drop of liquid comprising three separate drops merging into one, which perfectly represents the organisation’s core competences. The new webshop is launched at the end of April and all products undergo a redesign. From clean white to black with clear colour markings for the different product groups. The contents remain the same, of the highest quality as the customer is used to, and only the appearance is tailored to match the content.

2022 Establishment premtech international

To effectively ensure further growth, especially internationally, PremTech International B.V. is established in 2022. PremTech International B.V. now owns the PremTech brand. Many internally focused operations – production, product management, purchasing and marketing – are organised under the auspices of the new operating company. PremTech B.V. is now an official distributor of PremTech International B.V. for the Dutch market.

2022 The first distributors are a reality

Following the establishment of PremTech International B.V., the first distributors are a reality. Within the Mobility business in the Netherlands, PremTech Automotive B.V. is launched, and in the Belgian market, PremTech B.V. commences operations.
